The film doesn't completely gloss over the rough stuff and remains, for the most part, true to the text.. . There's an interesting movie struggling to get out of Friday Night Lights, but every time it tries it gets rushed and tackled.. Filled with plenty of bone-crushing, helmet-crashing action..
